At Moloka'i Tonewoods we have a philosophy: take only what is given. That means that we do not poach our tonewoods from natural forests or cut our tonewoods from trees that were improperly harvested.

Our tonewoods come from storm-downed or sustainably grown trees. We label all our tonewoods as such. You will see it in the details of each cut we offer. We think people will see it in your instruments as well.

The Moloka'i Tonewoods Guarantee: our woods are 100% salvaged or sustainably grown. Our cuts are selected for their premium characteristics through careful examination of grain, figure, color and stiffness.
